Last weekend Imaging Insider went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden where we took sample shots with the Leica D-Lux 4, Nikon Coolpix P6000, Olympus E-P1, and Sigma DP2. This week we begin to concentrate on long exposure tests. We didn’t get as far as we hope to because of the intense heat and humidity along with the most pesky mosquitos we’ve ever been around. Those buggers flew right through our repellant. But, here are a couple that we managed to snap. The Olympus E-P1 image was 60 seconds. The Sigma DP2 image was 15 seconds. Both shots were tripod mounted and placed in manual mode. A small LED flashlight was used to add light to the scene. As is everyone we’re interested in how the images look as we check for several variables. But sure to view at the EXIF for more information.
