With Kodak’s announcement of Kodachrome’s demise Imaging Insider had the pleasure of chatting with Grant Steinle, Vice President of Operations of Dwayne’s Photo located in Parsons, Kansas. Dwayne’s Photo is the only lab in the world that has been processing Kodachrome film! Steinle was able to provide more information as far as his own experiences on the processing of Kodachrome, the people that have been photographing with it, and if he believes that Kodachrome might make a comeback based upon public demand. Is this the end to an era? Steinle shares his thoughts… (Duration – 5:16)

(NOTE :: Dwayne’s Photo plans to continue to process Kodachrome films through 2010. Therefore, if you have any rolls of exposed film now it a good time to begin thinking about sending it in. Or, if you have rolls that are unexposed you still have a way to get them processed prior to 2011.
