1. What is Fresh Fair?

Fresh Fair is a photography fair similar to PhotoLA™  but designed to feature both new & established artists to collectors and art buyers from around the world. It is juried in advance to ensure that quality work is exhibited and that excellent standards are met. Fresh Fair presents the opportunity to sell your work directly to the public and collectors alike, and offers a one-of-a-kind glimpse of the latest trends in photography.

2. What does a “juried” fair mean?

“Juried” means that there is a preliminary screening process to ensure the quality of work that will be sold at the fair. Once the selection takes place, you will be notified if you have qualified to purchase a booth at the fair.

3. Who is eligible? And what kind of work should I consider submitting?

Any serious and emerging photographer with substantial bodies of work, portfolios, or concentrated projects. The fair is designed for the emerging and established photographer to be given the opportunity to sell work directly to the public.

4. Who attends the fair?

We send VIP cards to the collectors, art buyers of top agencies, photo editors and galleries. We also invite all the Photo LA and the Lucie Awards attendees.

5. Is there a fee to participate?

The cost to secure a booth for three days of the Fair is $1300 if you are selected to participate.

6. What is the best way to submit my work for the submission process?

You may send a CD with the three portfolios as JPGs, PDFs, or Quicktime movies. You may also send physical portfolios that are neatly compiled into a folder with sleeves. Should you send prints, please do not send originals as they will not be returned.

7. Do I need to be physically present to sell my work at Fresh Fair?

No. You may request a Fresh Fair staff member to represent you and your work for an additonal $200. You may also provide your own staff in order to ensure proper and accurate representation of your work.
