Today Nikon announced the top 50 Nikon Festival finalists at www.NikonFestival.com, marking the official start of the voting period! Since its launch on November 10, Nikon has received over 1,2000 submissions to the Nikon Festival for the chance to win up to $100,000.

Finalists are encouraged to rally their social networks, including Twitter and Facebook, to campaign for views and votes to win the Audience Award of $25,000. Here’s a quick snapshot of Festival stats as as they move into today’s voting period:

·         Currently at 1,429 Nikon Festival Facebook Fan Page fans

·         Currently at 2,077 followers of @nikonfestival on Twitter

·         +221,976 unique visits to www.NikonFestival.com
