There’s no time like the present to prepare for the future – Humber college launches Hasselblad program
The School of Media Studies & IT at Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning, located in Toronto, Ontario, trains students in the technology, business, and theory required to succeed as professional photographers. Humber is also, now, the largest Hasselblad installation at any educational institution. In 2008, Humber’s Creative Photography Department made a significant investment in Hasselblad, purchasing six H3DII-39s and one H3DII-50. The college now owns 20 H3DII-39s, three 50-megapixel H3DIIs, and an early 22-megapixel H2D. The cameras are a huge hit with students and allow beginning photographers to explore the advantages of medium format photography before commiting to a photo system.
